A California Superior Court judge has ruled to allow a lawsuit to proceed brought by pop legend Michael Jackson' mother against concert promoter AEG Live. The decision is a denial of a motion filed by AEG to dismiss the case. The civil suit alleges that the promoter was responsible for the decisions made by Dr. Conrad Murray who was serving as the singer's personal doctor at the time of his death. The judge in the case has given Jackson's attorneys until March 22nd to file an amended complaint after she ruled that there was no evidence to support conspiracy claims.Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, for which he has plead not guilty, inn Jackson's death.
