Eminem's comeback album, "Recovery," was officially naked the top-selling album of 2010 on Wednesday. The album moved 3.42 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album was the second for Eminem to grab the top spot in year-end sales, as his 2002 album, "The Eminem Show," also grabbed the top spot with sales of 7.61 million.
The second top-selling album of last year was Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now." Coming in third in 2010 sales was Taylor Swift's "Speak Now," an impressive feat, considering the set arrived in stores just 10 weeks before year's end. Swift also ended the year as the top-selling artist of 2010, with 4.47 total albums sold. Her previous effort, "Fearless," led the was in 2009.
Rounding out the top ten in 2010 sales were, in order: Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0," Susan Boyle's "The Gift," Lady Gaga's "The Fame," Sade's "Soldier of Love," Drake's "Thank Me Later," Usher's "Raymond v. Raymond," and Ke$ha's "Animal."
