Prosecutors in the involuntary manslaughter trial against deceased pop legend Michael Jackson's physician are reporting that the defense intends to call the star's death a suicide. The statement was made at a hearing Wednesday to determine who should test residue from two syringes found in Jackson's bedroom after his death.
Jackson's blood reportedly contained a large amount of the injectable drug Propofol when he passed, but Dr. Conrad Murray claims he only gave him 25 milligrams. The defense will claim during the trial that Jackson injected himself with a large amount of the drug, leading to his death.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for January 4th.
