The University of South Carolina will reportedly begin offering a course next semester titled "Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame."  The course description says the class will attempt to "unravel some of the sociologically relevant dimensions of the fame Lady Gaga."  The class will be taught by professor Mathieu Deflem, who claims to have attended 28 Gaga concert around the world and has launched his own fan site, gagafrontrow.net.
