Phish announced yesterday they will perform at Madison Square Garden on New Year's Eve again this year for the first time since 2002. They will perform 3 shows at the famous venue from December 30th to Jan 1st. The band played Madison Square Garden on the last day of the year several times in the past, and even released a boxed set from their New Years' 1995 show. The band is also scheduled to perform three straight nights in Atlantic City, New Jersey beginning October 29th.
