Former Fugee Wyclef Jean has gone into hiding after receiving several death threats in Haiti. Jean is currently awaiting the acceptance of his application to run in the upcoming Haiti Presidential election. He told an Associated Press reporter he will await the decision in a secret location because he has received several threatening messages.
He said: "We await the CEP [electoral commission] decision but the laws of the Haitian constitution must be respected."
