Popular rockers Arcade Fire has announced a series of US arena gigs for late summer around its scheduled appearance on the main stage on the final day of Lollapalooza, August 8th in Chicago. The band kicks of it's 2010 world tour in Sherbrooke, Ontario in their native Canada on June 7th and winds it up September 2nd in Bologna, Italy. The tour centers around the release of the band's third album, "The Suburbs", which hits stores August 3rd. Arcade Fires second album, "Neon Bible", which reached the Number 2 spot on Billboard's 200 albums chart in March 2007 and has sold more than 420,000 copies. No tracklisting has yet been released for "The Suburbs", the cover can be seen below.
