Poison frontman Bret Michaels, in his first interview since suffering a brain hemmorhage several weeks ago, said that the hemmorhage "sounded like a handgun, like it literally popped."
"It made my mind go almost blank," he said. "My neck tensed up. I couldn't move my head at all." Michaels said afterward he began pacing his living room before asking his girlfriend, Kristi Gibson, to take him to the hospital.
"I knew I was slurring my words, and I was like 'OK, this isn't a headache. There's something really bad happening,'" he said.
Michaels' doctors expect him to be well enough for the finale of Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice", on which the 47 year old is one of five finalists; and to make a complete recovery.
