Alan Ball remains a Dallas Cowboy and will see increased playing time due to the release of Cowboys safety Ken Hamlin. As of now, they have him listed as free safety, however, Ball can also play corner.
In 2007, Alan Ball was a seventh-round pick out of Illinois. So far, he has 26 tackles and five pass breakups and has excelled as a special teams player. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.
