Alternative rockers Supergrass announced plans to split yesterday after a 17 year run. The band released six studio albums over its career and had hits with "Alright" and "Richard III" in the '90s. The band will perform four farewell shows in June in Europe.
"Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years," the band said in a statement.
"We still love each other but, cliché notwithstanding, musical differences have led to us moving on and of course we all wish each other well in the future."
