The long-standing rumor that Guns n' Roses bassist Duff McKagan will replace longtime Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery on the band's in-the-works new album have been confirmed. The band's guitarist , Dave Navarro, posted this message on Twitter yesterday: "Another day of writing and creating in the studio with Janes Addiction!", along with a photo of singer Perry Farrell, drummer Stephen Perkins, and McKagan.
