Former Metal Church vocalist Ronny Munroe has joined the German metal band Brutal Godz which features members of Blind Guardian, Rebellion, and Rhapsody Fire.

Commented the band's guitarist Uwe Lulis: "Ronny impressed us with his voice and instantly made us feel like he is the perfect one. We sent him three songs to work on and even in the same night he responded. Within a short time-frame of several hours, Ronny had written lyrics, created and arranged all the vocal lines and then performed his work something that [none] of us had never experienced before.

"Ronny is absolutely amazing. We can't wait to hit the studio and get the songs nailed down."

Munroe commented: "I am very excited and honored to be playing with such great musicians. The material is brutal and I'm looking forward to a crushing release."

Ronny Munroe sang on the last three METAL CHURCH albums and recently released his first solo record, "The Fire Within", on Rat Pak Records.
