The film, "The Killer Inside Me" recieved "vehement criticism toward the violence toward women" at it's screening at Sundance.  It is based on Jim Thompson's book of the same name and stars Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson. The director's response:  "Violence should be shocking."
