Leonard Cohen is to be among seven honorees for lifetime achievement at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards, which are to be held January 31st in Los Angeles. The Canadian born songrwiter, poet, and novelist has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Candian Music Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. Over 2,000 version of Cohen's songs have been recorded.
Joining Cohen as lifetime achievement honorees will be Michael Jackson, Bobby Darin, David Honeyboy Edwards, Loretta Lynn, André Previn and Clark Terry. The ceremony will be televised on CBS at 8PM EST.
