Taylor Swift won yet another prestigious award when she was named Top Female Artist of 2009 by Billboard. Ironically, Swift will share the accolade with Billboard's Top Male Artist, Kanye West, who interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs earlier this year with a tirade about how Beyonce should have won the award for Best Female Video. Beyonce finished second to Swift on Billboard's Top Female Artist List. The Top 10 male and female artist lists can be seen below.

2009 was a year to remember for Taylor Swift. In addition to her VMA and the Billboard honor, she brought home two Academy of Country Music awards, five BMIs, five CMA awards including Entertainer of the Year, and five American Music Awards including Artist of the Year.
