Lou Reed, Maureen Tucker, and Doug Yule, the surviving members of Velvet Undergound, will make a rare joint puclic appearance at the New York Public Library on December 8th. As part of the "Live from the NYPL" series, the trio will sit down with David Fricke to discuss the band's music and legacy, as well as the recently published "The Velvet Underground: New York Art". The book is a collection of never before seen photos, posters, Andy Warhol cover designs, Lou Reed handwritten music and lyrics, and other miscellaneous artwork involving the band.
