The long awaited Lil' Wayne documentary "The Carter", after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival and wiggling free of some controversy, was screened in New York this past week. The film follows the 25 year old MC turned rapper during 2008, when he thrust onto the hip-hop scene. Wayne was convicted of gun and drug charges last month and is awaiting sentencing in a Manhattan courtroom and is expected to be sent to prison for no less than one year. The film depicts the star screaming at the Boston Celtics, harassing journalists, getting his face tattooed, and exhibiting other outlandish behavior.
