The new solo release from Slash will feature several famous musicians including Chris Cornell, Dave Grohl, ex-members of Guns n Roses, Ozzy and Flea.  However, the former GNR guitarist could not get one musician that he really wanted: Jack Black of the White Stripes.

Slash told MusicRadar.com, I wanted to get Jack White to sing on something, but he didnt want to sing........He said Ill play drums, Ill play guitar, but I dont wanna sing. He was one guy that I wanted to work with. Pretty much everyone else that I went after, I managed to get.
