Beyonce leads in nominations for the returning Soul Train Awards

With four nominations apeice, Beyonce, Maxwell, and Keri Hilsonbtop the list for most nominations for the return of the Soul Train Awards. The ceremony will take place November 3rd and will be hosted by actors Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The show will be televised on November 29th in a special simulcast on both BET and its new CENTRIC network at 9PM. In addition to the awards handed out for current music, the show will also pay tribute to the careers of Cjaka Khan, Antonio "LA" Reed, and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. Michael Jackson will be honored posthumously as Soul Train's Entertainer of the Year. Scheduled to perform at the ceremony are Toni Braxton, Rtey Songz, Chrisette Michelle and Melanie Fiona.
