"The Beatles: Rock Band" has reportedly sold about 595,000 copies since its September 9th release, while "Guitar Hero 5", released 8 days prior, has sold just shy of 500,000 copies. The sales of both games have helped drive a 72 percent jump in video game sales as compared with September 2008. The games only trailed "John Madden Football 2010" and "Halo 3" in sales among all video games since September.
