Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is forming a solo band with Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and will be performing two shows next week. The gigs are set for October 4th and 5th at LA's Orpheum Theatre, with local band Lucky Dragons opening the show.
"We don't really have a name and the set will not be very long cuz .. well .. we haven't got that much material yet," Yorke wrote on Radiohead's Web site.
Most recently, Yorke released a twelve-inch single with "Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses" and "The Hollow Earth". He also has a song ("Hearing Damage") featured on the upcoming soundtrack for the film "New Moon". The soundtrack hits stores on October 20th.
