Alice Cooper kicked off his Theatre of Death Tour yesterday in South Bend, IN. The show consists of four sets, each of which features Alice as a different persona, which is killed at set's end to make room for the next Alice.
"It's Alice all the way, but the formula is totally upside down and backwards," the legendary shock-rocker says. "It's a celebration of Alice stuff. There's no moral to it. It really is just sort of a celebration of different phases of Alice."
Cooper also plans to film the show at some point in the tour, and says he may announce more dates for early next year. He wants to launch another tour in the near future based on his 2008 album, "Along Came a Spider."
He has already begun working on his next album, as well. He has already begun working on his next album, as well. His tentative plan is to record the album early next year before going out on the road again.
