Sweden's guitar god Yngwie J. Malmsteen has announced that his album, "The Genesis", originally released in 2002 in Japan, will finally be released in the US on August 25th on Malmsteen's own Rising Force Records. The album contains recordings from Malmsteen's teenage years of songs that were later reconstructed into songs that would appear on several of his later albums. The new release will also contain a video of the virtuoso from around 1980.
