According to a report in the Pryor Daily Times in Pryor, OK, fans braved the 100-degree heat to come out and support the bands. Though turnout inside the gates seemed less than less year to some observers, the number of people camping on the grounds was higher.
The local sherriff's department, meanwhile, reported few incidents with the fans. There were only nine arrests over the four days of the festival, most for public intoxication.
Officials said the sheriffs office tried to book fans for nothing more than public intoxication despite what the offense may have been, so the fans wouldnt be stuck in Oklahoma longer than a day. Most incidents law enforcement encountered were minor.
