In honor of the 10th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, Slipknot is planning on reissuing the title in September. Frontman Corey Taylor had this to say: "Everything that we've always wanted, and that we've always pictured for this band is kind of coming true in this last year and a half," he said. "You know, this is kind of the culmination of 10 years of just barreling through the mud, you know, sweating through the dark times, and this is really the payoff. And the great thing is, is that we're old enough to appreciate it." No other details about the release have been announced.
Slipknot's newest album, "All Hope Is Gone" has sold just shy of 800k albums since its release last August. They will begin a short tour in Seattle on August 22.
