In light of the struggling national economy, organizers of the Virgin Mobile Festival have announced that the fourth annual installment of the event will be free. 35,000 tickets will be given away through Ticketmaster. The event will be held Aug. 30th at the Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD. Fans who attended last year's Virgin Mobile Fest will be able to get the free tickets June 25th and 26th, while the general public will be able to get tickets starting June 27th.
