Bon Jovi and Crosby, Stills, and Nash were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame last night. Jon Bon Jovi, while accepting the award, said "On a night like this, it comes back to one thing: the power of the pen, if you write one song that comes across decades, youre lucky. If you write a body of them and youre recognized in the Songwriters Hall of Fame, its prestigious." Jon and bandmate Ritchie Sambora performed "Wanted Dead or Alive" at the ceremony. Stephen Stills handled his acceptance in a somewhat more humorous way: "I have to thank all the great women who dumped me and all the dumb politicians that did things that [inspired me] to write songs."
