Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall reportedly met with team owner Pat Bowlen yesterday and it was reported that the two mutually agreed that a parting of the ways was in order. Marshall wants a contract extension to cash in on his stellar past two seasons during which he averaged 103 catches and nearly 1,300 yards. The team has had a tumultuous offseason, highlighted by star quarterback Jay Cutler demanding a trade, then being dealt to the Chicago Bears for Kyle Orton. The team also cut running back Travis Henry, who is in jeopardy of serving prison time for drug charges.
