Steely Dan has begun its Rent Party Tour '09. Highlighting the tour are multiple night performances in L.A., Boston, New York, and Chicago; where the band will be performing, in their entirety, the albums "Gaucho", "Aja", and "The Royal Scam" on successive nights. Closing out each of the multi-gig stops will be a night of playing songs selected by fans online. Ironically, all three albums were released after the band stopped playing live in the mid-70s so they were never supported by a tour.
