Vince Young wants to start or move on

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was interviewed on Baltimore's WMAR TV recently. Young said, ostensibly, that if he doesn't win back the starting quarterback job for the Tennessee Titans, he wants to move on.

"I definitely want to get back out there playing ball and picking up where I left off, winning games and having a good time with my teammates and with the fans," Young said, in the interview. "At the same time, if them guys don't want me to be in there, it's time for me to make a career change for myself. Because the fact is I'm ready to play ball. If they're not ready for me to play ball, then somebody is."

Young, who led the Texas Longhorns to the BCS Championship then won Rookie of the Year, was sidelined by a knee injury during the first game of the season last year. Veteran Kerry Collins stepped in nicely and led the Titans to an AFC best 13 - 3 record. There was also an incident where Young went missing for a few days and his mental state was questioned. Titans coach Jeff Fisher has said that the job is Collins' unless Young significantly outperforms him in camp.
