The recently reunited alternative band Blink 182 will be touring this summer with Weezer and Fall Out Boy. The band's bassist, Mark Hoppus was quoted in the new issue of Rolling Stone. We started talking about bands to tour with and Weezer was actually one of the first ones that came up, Hoppus tells Rolling Stone. They wanted to do the tour, and so did Fall Out Boy. It worked out perfectly. The tour is set to begin on July 24th, the rest of the dates have yet to be announced. Weezer will be on board for about a third of the tour and Fall Out Boy will open the rest of the shows. The band says they will have a more polished feel as they plan on doing some serious rehearsing before setting out. We used to go on stage and forget our parts, Hoppus says. This time we want to be more artistic. We really want the live show on this tour to be something nobody would ever expect from Blink.
