Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament was injured April 27th outside Southern Tracks Recording Studio in Atlanta, GA when he was robbed by three men with knives. The band is currently recording their ninth album at the studio. According to a police report, the men smashed in the windows of a rented Jeep and got away with $3,000 in cash as well as more than $4,000 in merchandise. Ament tried to flee and was chased and beaten. He was treated on the scene for a head laceration. Though the incident was caught by surveilance camera, there have been no arrests made yet.
