As reported in the Latin American Herald Tribune, 111 people were arrested Saturday night before and after an Iron Maiden concert in Bogota, Columbia. The show was attended by 25,000 and was held at the Simon Bolivar Park. A number of fans tried to enter without tickets and struggled with security. Local authorities were called in and there were several disturbances in the area around the park. In one such disturbance a police officer, Rolado Arturo Girata Mora, while serving with an anti-riot aquad, was injured in the face. His injuries required reconstructive surgery.
