Bon Jovi knocked Bruce Springsteen of the top of the hill to earn the spot of 2008's highest grossing tour.  The band toured Europe, as well as the States and took in more than 210 million dollars, surpassing the Springsteen tour by nearly six million dollars. 

Other artists on the list include Madonna at $162 million, The Police at $150 million (second leg of reunion tour), Celine Dion at $91 million, Neil Diamond at $81 million and the Eagles at $56.6 million. 

2008 saw a worldwide drop in concert attendance and North America had a 2% drop in concert attendance after a 20% decline in 2007.
