I have recently been searching through San Diego real estate and have realized that prices have never been better. With the recent downfall of the housing market, it is an ideal time to purchase a home and no better place than San Diego. Areas that I am most interested in are Downtown San Diego, or Pacific Beach. Both those areas are made for those who still enjoy the nightlife.
 
In the downtown area, I would be close to restaurants, shops and a wide array of nightclubs. Also, if I decided to go to a San Diego Padres game, it would literally be a walk to the park. I think it's around $5.00 if you want to watch the game inside the park, on the lawn. Great place to spend an evening especially if you have kids. The Gaslamp Quarter is also a highlight. It offers a variety of good foods, uniques shops and without a doubt, a fun nightlife as well.

Pacific Beach has much of the same lifestyle as downtown. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and the nightlife goes until the early hours of morning. The one thing I like most about Pacific Beach is the fact that I would be close to the ocean. I have always wanted to live within walking distance to the beach and if I decide to purchase a condo in Pacific Beach, my dream will become a reality.
