Organizers of the 2016 Monster Energy Fort Rock festival, dubbed as "South Florida's Biggest Rock Festival", unveiled this year's lineup on Monday while also announcing that the festival would be expanded to two days next year. "With three straight years of sellout shows, we are excited to expand Monster Energy Fort Rock to two days," read a statement from Danny Wimmer Presents. "We've doubled down with the biggest Fort Rock to date. Fort Myers's hunger for rock continues to grow and our show has expanded to meet that demand. We look forward to bringing this amazing lineup to South Florida in 2016."
According to Monday's press release, shock rocker Rob Zombie will close out the festivities on the first day of the festival, while Disturbed will shut it down on day 2. Additional acts for the event include Megadeth, Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Anthrax, Sevendust and Sixx:AM, plus many more. The full lineup, as announced so far, is listed below.
