Columbia / Legacy Recordings revealed Thursday they will release an all-new album of the early recordings of singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley, who passed away tragically at the age of 30 in 1997. Titled You an I, the album will feature Buckley renditions of songs by Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, the Smiths and others, and is slated to hit stores on March 11th next year. The 10-track set is comprised of the first recordings Buckley made after signing with Columbia in October 1992. A spokesman for the label said that these recordings were only discovered when a research team was combing through the archives for the 20th anniversary edition of Grace, the only album released while the singer was still alive.
