Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe was attacked outside his hotel in Dublin Ireland on Monday, according to a post on the singer's Instagram account. Blythe revealed he was standing in front of his hotel when a group of kids surrounded him and struck him over the head. Blythe, who estimated the kids were between the ages of 16 and 18, did not suffer any serious injuries from the attack. They didn't even try to rob me, Blythe explained, They just wanted to hurt someone, anyone.
The news of the attack on Blythe somewhat obscured Lamb of God's other announcement on Tuesday, that they were launching an extensive US tour with Anthrax early next year. The trek kicks off January 15th in Pittsburgh and includes 19 dates, concluding February 12th at the Hollywood Paladium. For a complete list of dates and venues, Click Here.
