Fort Worth alternative veterans the Toadies are dropping their sixth full-length album, entitled Heretics, this Friday on the Kirtland Records imprint, a Dallas-based indie formed by Deep Blue Something drummer John Kirtland. The album includes eight re-worked versions of some of the band's biggest hits, including "Possom Kingdom,""Tyler," and "Backslider." The set also includes the band's take on the Blondie classic, "Heart of Glass," as well as three all-new tracks. The band stopped into the RXP 103.9 studios recently and performed the Blondie cover acoustically. Check out that performance in the video clip below.
