Day Trending has been doing regular updates for the last couple of months.  The concept is still the same, trending news stories from around the web, the difference is - it is now updated daily (even weekends) and throughout the day.  The homepage has top stories broken up into several categories, but the magic happens on the actual category pages.  Instead of going to ten different websites for your news, you can just go to one.  For example, here's the MOVIES page http://www.daytrending.com/movies.html   Here's the Music page http://www.daytrending.com/music.html
