Carly Rae Jepsen made a bit of Billboard chart history on Wednesday as her single "Call Me Maybe" logged a 7th week atop Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. It's the longest stint at the top for any single from a female artist signed to Interscope Records, surpassing the six weeks at the chart's summit logged by Lady Gaga's "Born this Way" last year. "Call Me Maybe" remained atop the chart despite suddering declines last week in radio airplays, digital downloads and on-demand streams.
