Okay, I saw the original musical that this film is based on and I loved it...I hope the movie will be just as good.  You know the story...a young girl from the midwest moves to LA to be a star and meets a young guy who dreams of being a musician ...they fall in love...it is LA...it is the late 1980's....Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mary J. Bilge, star in this adaptation of the musical...oh, and did I mention....Tom Cruise stars as STACEE JAXX...a rock legend.
