Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has joined the UK edition of Simon Cowell's singing competition show "The X Factor" after leaving the US edition of the show following its first season.  Scherzinger and Paula Abdul left the US version as judges, being replaced by Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.  The new season of the UK version begins in August.
