Swedish hard rock veterans Europe were forced to cancel their scheduled performance at the Download festival in the UK when rain delayed the band's flight for two hours, pushing the band's arrival to Donington Park back a couple more hours due to rush hour traffic. According to a statement from Europe frontman Joey Tempest, who actually did make it in time because he lives in London, the decision was very close, but in the end, it was decided that fans deserved better than a two-or-three song set.
