Two years ago today, heavy metal lost perhaps the greatest metal frontman of all time talent when Ronald James Padavona, more commonly known as Ronnie James Dio, passed away after a 6 month battle with stomach cancer.  Dio had a monumental impact on the heavy metal music genre with literally dozens of classics through his time with Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio.  Revered by pretty much everyone in the metal community, Dio is often credited with popularizing the devil horns hand gesture that is synonymous with heavy metal, and left behind a legacy unmatched in the annals of metal.
