Following the tragic death of Adam "MCA" Yauch last week, fans of his groundbreaking Beastie Boys rap group began snapping up titles from the band's back catalog, thrusting the classic "Licensed to Ill" record back into the top 20 on Billboard's albums chart more than 25 weeks after it debuted at No. 1, where it stayed perched for seven weeks. The album was the first rap album ever to top the Billboard chart. In all, sales of Beastie Boys records jumped more than 1,200 percent last week, and that was with just two days of sales following Yauch's untimely death. Insiders expect sales to jump even more this week, with a full sales week passing since the tragedy.
