Britain's Music Millionaires - McCartney Worth Over $1 Billion

The Sunday Times published a list of the richest musicians in Britain and Ireland.

Highlights:

After losing a piece of his fortune to ex-wife Heather Mills, Paul McCartney is on the rebound...financially too.  His marriage to Nancy Shevell brought in an additional $243,000,000 due to her stake in New England Motor Freight, where she acts as vice-president.  McCartney brought home some bacon also, earning $32,000,000 from touring and album sales, bringing his worth to more than $1 billion.

Other highlights - Former Pink Floyd bassist / vocalist, Roger Waters, has been touring "The Wall" and as a result saw his worth jump from $170,000,000 to $194,000,000.  Here's a crazy one - now I didn't think George Michael was broke but I had no idea.  I figured with all the disorder he's caused that his career would be in the crapper but the troubled pop star's worth, in the last year, went from $146,000,000 to $162,000,000.
