Despite considerable success with his bands the Raconteurs, Dead Weather and the White Stripes, alt-rocker Jack White never reached the summit of the Billboard 200 albums chart, which ranks records according to sales. That is about to change, however, as White's debut solo effort, "Blunderbuss," is on pace to top the chart next week with sales of between 100k and 120k, according to industry sources.
Of the ten albums White's three bands have released, seven have reached the Top 10 on the Billboard chart, including the Stripes' "Icky Thump," which reached No. 2 in 2007.
