Rush fans can rejoice........the new single from the band has finally arrived.  Clocking in at more than seven minutes, "Headlong Flight" will be on the forthcoming Rush album, entitled "Clockwork Angels" -  the band's 20th full-length release.

Bassist / Vocalist Geddy Lee commented, Headlong Flight was one of those songs that was a joy to write and record from beginning to end.......Alex and I assembled the song to be an instrumental.....Its original title was Take That Lampshade Off Yo Head!, but once we saw the lyrics Neil [Peart] had written, I knew that the spirit of the lyrics matched the instrumental perfectly and it was just a matter of making them fit and writing the melodies.

Expect Rush to hit the road in the fall.  The official release date for "Clockwork Angels" is June 12th via Roadrunner Records.....Can you believe a band like Rush is on a label like Roadrunner?????....the times have changed.
