Veteran San Francisco Bay Area thrashers Heathen have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Records, making them label-mates with other Bay Area thrashers like Exodus and Testament.  Heathen thrust onto the booming Bay Area tharsh scene in 1984, releasing their debut album, "Breaking the Silence" in 1987.  The band achieved moderate success touring for that album, but wouldn't release another album until 1991's "Victims of Deception."  Heathen would go on hiatus in 1992, returning in 2010 with "The Evolution of Chaos."
